Musa Shehu

Colonel Musa Sheikh Shehu was the last military governor of Plateau State before the return of democracy in Nigeria.

In August 1998, Musa Shehu was appointed the military governor of Plateau State by General Sani Abacha, the dictator Head of States of Nigeria.

After appointed as military governor of Plateau State, Musa Shehu was given N200 million meant for clean up of environmental pollution caused by mining activities in Plateau State. However, the people of Plateau State have attested to the fact that no clean up exercise was done during the military administration of Musa Shehu.
