Mohammed Mana

Mohammed Mana was given birth on 7 October 1950 and began his early education at Government College Keffi Local Government Area in Nassarawa State and proceeded to obtained Diploma Certificate in Petroleum Technology from United States Army Quartermaster School in 1976.

Mohammed Mana obtained yet another diploma in Public Administration from the Nigerian’s best University, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State. General Sani Abacha appointed Mohammed Mana as the military governor of Plateau State on December 1993 till August 1996.

Following the outbreak of crisis in Plateau State in 1994 between Berom, Anaguta and Afizere tribes on one side and the Hausa-Fulani on other hand, Mohammed Mana was fingered as the trigger of the inter-ethnic conflict in Plateau State after he appointed a Hausa man (non-indigene) as “Caretaker Committee Chairman”
