Aliyu Kama



Aliyu Adu Umar kama was appointed the military governor of Plateau State on July 1988 by General Ibrahim Babangida. He was born on 15th June 1949 in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The quest for educational qualifications saw Aliyu Kama attend Government Secondary School, Yola between 1963-1968 and proceeded to Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna State between 1969-1972 before going to the Army School of Supply and Transport in Ibadan, Oyo State in 1972.

Aliyu Kama military administration as military governor of Plateau State came to end in August 1980.

Aliyu Kama aspired to be the Governor of Adamawa State under the People’s Democratic Party (P.D.P) in 2007 general elections and championed the course for the creation of Amana State out of Adamawa State which was futile untill he was appointed the Chairman, Board of Federal Superphosphate Fertilizer Company in Kaduna State.
