Proof: Nigerian Doctors Are The Best

Josloaded media received a great information indicating the development of the health sector in Nigeria especially when responding to emergency issue’s.

The report stated FMC Owerri emergency response of Surgeons on call saved a Life at around 10:30pm yesterday.

This is a 35yrs old Bricklayer who accidentally fell off from a Storey building while at work and landed with the left lateral anterior Neck, on a hammer 🔨 standing on the ground with the handle facing upwards. This pierced via the anterior and exited on the posterior. However, as God may have it, he was not in any respiratory distress and vitals are relatively stable on presentation*

Being the *Senior Registrar on call in Ear, Nose and Throat and Head and Neck Surgeon, I called out my 2 ENT Consultants, quickly raised alarm and invited the Vascular Surgeons, Burns and plastic, Traumatologist / Spine Surgeons, Anaesthetist and Theatre Peri-op Nurses informed to get ready.

Necessary urgent Investigations were done, thanks to our Med. Laboratory Scientist Friends, who acted promptly as the urgency demands, gave us 4 units of screened / cross matched blood and provided the results needed as fast as possible.

Within a short while, all the invited Surgeons storm the Casualty, we quickly wheeled the patient to the theatre and Neck Exploration with foreign body removal was done.

Miraculous intra-Op Findings: The hammer neatly passed medial to the Carotid vessel and IJV and lateral to the Oesophagus, trachea and the Vertebral column.

Patient was later transferred to the ICU by the Anaesthetist for observation and early this morning when checked, Patient is doing very well, vitals are still stable.

1.8B Car Scandal In Plateau State

Good morning Plateau, I recently spoke about the mismanagement of resources by our so called politicians who we elect to work for the common man on the plateau, it seems reverse is the case now.

The issues of the cars that was supplied to the Law makers in the State house of Assemble, I have done my investigations and without a doubt with good evidences I will make a post soon as soon as I verify one information. But I can tell you I have verified this certain things.

1. How much was spent
2. Who and who got money from that deal.
3. Who brought the link of the car suppliers
4. The car suppliers
5. How the cars where shared to members + packages.

I stand here to make certain clear, I love plateau with the whole of my heart and nothing can change it, we have to fix our home, accountability must be demanded, we will soon activate the office of the citizen we will demand accountability every kobo spent and to who. I am currently doing a documentary called THE UNTOLD STORY, I have gone round and I can tell you our people are suffering in the villages, The IDPs, may God reward politicians towards their negligence to those people.

We can spent 1.8billion for cars to politicians, but we can’t use 1.8 billion to empower, resettle rebuild lives of our people, war unto politicians. Plateau let’s raise against bad governance.

First NYSC Camp Experience

Josloaded Media received a very heart felt experience from Jerry Thomas Pam, a graduate of Mass Communications department from University of Jos, Plateau State.

He shares his first day experience at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) when he was posted to Adamawa State.

Usman and Musa arrived at about 9:00pm. 4 hours after I and Kyaplat arrived from Jos. Musa comes from Kaduna while Usman, Kano. They politely asked if they could patch on top of our bunks since the down bunks were already occupied. We said yes and in no distant time became friends.

Minutes later, an argument broke out between Chima and Okunade. One was accusing the other of taking his space. They dragged until Okunade gave way. He has 21 days to spend here so he obviously cannot spend the whole time arguing on a bed space. He was bitter. But tomorrow after they arrived yesterday, I returned from the kitchen with my tea, bread and butter and found them gisting.

Hmmm. Amazing I thought to myself. I soon discovered that around my corner I had people from all over the country who traveled for days into Adamawa SUNSHINE. I’ll talk about the SUN another day but despite the fact that we all came in cliques with mutual suspicions, we were not bad people after all. Emma from Lagos was eager to know my name and told me how he would have loved to serve in Plateau State. He said in his 23hrs journey from Lagos down to Adamawa, he passed many states and Jos was one of his favorites. I was proud. Soon, we were exchanging buckets and spoons and slippers and kuli kuli. (Lol) We talked about the hospitable people of Adamawa and the roads that ushered us into the state.

We are all dressed in white. Here we Obey the same command and eat the same food which is good enough. Real definition of how Nigeria should be. For a moment I wish the whole country was regimented if that is what will take us to have tolerance and live in harmony. No one is talking about the IPOB from the East.

No one is talking about militancy from the South. And of course no one is talking about insurgency from the North. We have soldiers here. But none of them is carrying a rifle. They parade us with light sticks and no one is hurt. In fact its time for parade and am still at the tap trying to get bathing water. ‘Are you still there? (A soldier just shouted). Moving to the hostel may be a waste of time as another soldier friend is chasing us out. Where do I move to?….

Jerry Thomas has learned a lot from the first day and believes there is till much to grabs while his stays last here in Adamawa State in the far North East of Nigeria.
